Susan joined NMH in 2003 as a capital gifts officer after 13 years at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Since 2006, she has led the NMH team responsible for capital gifts, research, and donor relations.

As assistant vice chancellor for alumni relations at UMass Amherst, Susan was a member of the senior management team that oversaw a successful $130 million campaign. She also served as director of communications in the UMass Amherst College of Engineering and is a past communications director for the National Ski Areas Association.  She holds an MBA and a Master’s in Sport Management, and serves as vice chair for programs on the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District 1 board of directors. Her daughter Anna is a member of the NMH class of 2010.

Kristin returned to NMH in 1989 as associate director of alumni affairs. After four years, pursuing a desire to work more directly with students, she began teaching and became dorm head in Cottage IV until 1996. For the next few years she worked with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and was dean for the Explorations Summer Program, but returned to NMH in 2003 to work in the annual giving office. Kristin was named director of annual giving in 2006.

At NMH Kristin has served on the strategic planning committee of the Alumni Council and in various leadership roles for her class. She received an Alumni Citation in 2000.
