Endowment: Investing in the Future

It will be used to develop innovative ways to advance international education and to support faculty travel and exchanges.
"As individuals we are linked inseparably to one another as a community," says Mueller, who has traveled the world as a career diplomat for the Foreign Service.
Now head of the Hong Kong International School, Mueller is proud of NMH's standing as a leader in international education. By creating the Mueller Family Endowment in Support of International Education, he is carrying on that noble global tradition, and expanding on it.
Campaign goal: $28 million
Endowments are permanent assets that are invested to provide both current and future revenue streams to support the school’s educational mission and most important—the students and faculty. Its funds provide fuel for critical priorities not covered by tuition and ensures financial security, giving NMH a solid foundation on which to pursue strategic long-term planning and decision-making.
The NMH endowment has grown impressively in the last four year, 45 percent, yet it lags behind the endowment levels of our most competitive peers. An investment in the NMH endowment has a direct and lasting impact, strengthening and sustaining the NMH experience for generations to come.
Endowments can be established to provide financial support for scholarships, faculty support, academic programs, athletic and performing arts programs, facilities maintenance, and more.
